# Astoria

Two parts fresh dry vermouth to one part Old Tom gin make this 1931 Waldorf recipe a true reverse Martini, sharpened only by orange bitters.

Strength: 25% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 30 ml [Old Tom gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/old-tom-gin.md)
- 60 ml [Dry vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 2 dashes [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.

## Method

1. Stir all ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled Martini glass.
