# Bloody Mary

A savoury vodka highball balancing tomato and lemon with measured chile heat and Worcestershire depth.

Strength: 10% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 45 ml [Vodka](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/vodka.md)
- 120 ml [Tomato juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/tomato-juice.md) — Use smooth 100% tomato juice rather than a prepared Bloody Mary mix.
- 15 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 3 dashes [Hot sauce](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/hot-sauce.md) — Use a thin, vinegar-forward red-pepper sauce.
- 3 dashes [Worcestershire sauce](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/worcestershire-sauce.md)

## Glassware

Highball glass

## Garnish

- Celery stalk
- Lemon wedge

## Method

1. Add all the ingredients and cubed ice to one shaker tin.
2. Roll gently between two tins five times to chill without aggressively aerating the tomato juice.
3. Pour unstrained into a highball glass and add more cubed ice if needed.
