# Breakfast Martini

Fine-cut orange marmalade gives a taut gin sour fragrant peel oils, pithy bitterness, and a texture that no orange liqueur alone can supply.

Strength: 31% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [London dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/london-dry-gin.md)
- 15 ml [Cointreau](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/cointreau.md)
- 15 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 1 bar spoon [Fine-cut orange marmalade](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-marmalade.md) — Use a full bar spoon of fine-cut bitter orange marmalade.

## Glassware

Cocktail glass

## Garnish

- Orange zest — Shred a few fine strips over the surface for aroma.

## Method

1. Stir the gin, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, and marmalade in a shaker until the preserve loosens and disperses.
2. Add cubed ice and shake hard until thoroughly chilled.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
