# Bywater

Chris Hannah’s current New Orleans rum-Brooklyn branch joins aged rum to Averna, green alpine herbs, falernum, and two aromatic bitters.

Strength: 37% ABV before dilution

- 22.5 ml [Averna](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/averna.md)
- 15 ml [Green Chartreuse](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/green-chartreuse.md)
- 7.5 ml [Falernum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/falernum.md)
- 2 dashes [Peychaud’s bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/peychauds-bitters.md)
- 2 dashes [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)

## Glassware

## Garnish

- Orange twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and discard the twist.
- Cocktail cherry — Use one good brandied cherry.

## Method

1. Stir all the ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
