# Caipirinha

Brazil’s direct, vivid union of grassy cachaça, muddled lime, and cane sugar over cracked ice.

- 1 piece [Lime](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/lime.md) — Cut into small wedges.
- 2 teaspoons [Superfine sugar](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/superfine-sugar.md)

## Method

1. Place the lime wedges and sugar in an old fashioned glass, then muddle gently to release the juice and peel oils.
2. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add the cachaça, and stir thoroughly.
