# Cameron's Kick

Equal Scotch and Irish whiskeys turn orgeat and lemon into a compact split-base sour whose almond richness reveals what the two whiskies share and where they differ.

Strength: 27% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 30 ml [Blended Scotch whisky](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/blended-scotch-whisky.md) — Use a rounded, lightly smoky blend rather than an assertively peated whisky.
- 30 ml [Irish whiskey](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/irish-whiskey.md)
- 15 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 15 ml [Orgeat syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orgeat-syrup.md)

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
