# Carajillo 43

Fresh espresso and citrus-vanilla Licor 43 shake into a cold, bittersweet Mexican after-dinner drink with a lasting crema.

Strength: 16% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [Licor 43 Original](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/licor-43.md)
- 50 ml [Espresso](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/espresso.md) — Use one freshly pulled hot double espresso; contains caffeine.

## Glassware

Old fashioned glass

## Method

1. Add the Licor 43 and hot espresso to a sturdy shaker, then add cubed ice immediately.
2. Seal carefully and shake hard until cold and foamy.
3. Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass filled with fresh cubed ice and serve promptly.
