# Champagne Cocktail

A bitters-soaked sugar cube focuses Champagne&#39;s stream of bubbles, while Cognac gives the drink quiet depth.

Strength: 15% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 1 cube [Sugar](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sugar.md)
- 2 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Orange zest — Express the peel oils over the drink.
- Maraschino cherry

## Method

1. Place the sugar cube in a chilled Champagne flute and saturate it with the bitters.
2. Add the Cognac, then pour in the chilled Champagne gently.
3. Do not stir.
