# Coronation No. 1

Equal fino and dry vermouth make a pale, saline wine cocktail in which maraschino and orange bitters supply just enough fruit and spice to distinguish it from the Bamboo.

Strength: 17% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 45 ml [Fino sherry](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fino-sherry.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 45 ml [Dry vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 5 ml [Luxardo Maraschino](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/luxardo-maraschino.md)
- 2 dashes [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.
- Green olive — Serve one olive on a pick so its brine does not enter the drink.

## Method

1. Stir all ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
