# El Capitán

A Peruvian classic joining fragrant grape spirit and sweet vermouth in equal measure, sharpened with aromatic bitters and a savoury olive.

Strength: 28% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 45 ml [Pisco](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/pisco.md) — Use a Peruvian pisco puro.
- 45 ml [Sweet vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sweet-vermouth.md)
- 1 dash [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Green olive — Skewer one or two olives on a cocktail pick.

## Method

1. Stir all the ingredients with ice until well chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
