# Gin &amp; It

Dry gin and fresh Italian sweet vermouth form the spare British shorthand for a Sweet Martini, published here in David Embury’s crisp three-to-one shape.

Strength: 34% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-gin.md)
- 20 ml [Sweet vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sweet-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.

## Glassware

Cocktail glass

## Method

1. Stir both ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
