# Gin & Tonic

Cold tonic lengthens London dry gin without hiding it, joining juniper and citrus oils to quinine bitterness in a spare, exact highball.

Strength: 13% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [London dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/london-dry-gin.md)
- 100 ml [Tonic water](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/tonic-water.md) — Use a cold, freshly opened premium tonic with clean quinine bitterness.

## Glassware

Goblet glass

## Garnish

- Lime wedge — Place it on the rim without automatically squeezing it into the drink.

## Method

1. Fill a chilled goblet completely with hard cubed ice and add the London dry gin.
2. Add the cold tonic gently, then lift once from bottom to top with a bar spoon.
