# Gin Fizz

A brisk gin and lemon highball lengthened with lively soda.

Strength: 24% ABV

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/gin.md)
- 30 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 10 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- a splash [Soda water](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/soda-water.md)

## Glassware

Tall tumbler

## Garnish

- Lemon slice
- Lemon zest — Optional.

## Method

1. Shake the gin, lemon juice, and syrup with ice, leaving out the soda.
2. Strain into a tall tumbler and finish with a splash of soda water.
3. Serve without ice.
