# Golden Dawn

Equal gin, Calvados, apricot, and orange sit above a vivid sunken measure of grenadine in T. Buttery’s layered British classic.

Strength: 25% ABV before dilution

- 22.5 ml [Calvados](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/calvados.md)
- 22.5 ml [Apricot liqueur](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/apricot-liqueur.md)
- 22.5 ml [Fresh orange juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-orange-juice.md)
- 5 ml [Grenadine](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/grenadine.md)

## Method

1. Shake the gin, Calvados, apricot liqueur, and orange juice hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Pour the grenadine slowly into the centre so it settles at the bottom without stirring.
