# Gunshop Fizz

Two full ounces of Peychaud’s turn strawberry, cucumber, citrus peel, lemon, syrup, and red bitter soda into a vivid, low-proof New Orleans original.

Strength: 11% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 3 pieces [Grapefruit](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/grapefruit.md) — Cut three broad 10 cm strips of peel with as little white pith as possible.
- 3 pieces [Orange](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange.md) — Cut three broad 10 cm strips of peel with as little white pith as possible.
- 2 slices [Cucumber](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/cucumber.md) — Use two slices about 5 mm thick.
- 2 pieces [Fresh strawberry](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-strawberry.md) — Hull two ripe strawberries.
- 60 ml [Peychaud’s bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/peychauds-bitters.md)
- 30 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 30 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- 67.5 ml [Sanbittèr Rosso](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sanbitter-rosso.md) — Use a cold, freshly opened bottle.

- Cucumber slice — Use one fresh slice.

## Method

1. Gently muddle both citrus peels, the cucumber, strawberries, and Peychaud’s bitters in a shaker, then rest for two minutes.
2. Add the lemon juice, syrup, and cubed ice, then shake until thoroughly chilled.
3. Double-strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with fresh cubed ice and add the Sanbittèr.
