# Hearst Cocktail

An equal-parts sweet Martini where aromatic and orange bitters put a dark, spiced edge around dry gin and fresh Italian-style vermouth.

Strength: 28% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 45 ml [London dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/london-dry-gin.md)
- 45 ml [Sweet vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sweet-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 2 dashes [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)
- 1 dash [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

## Method

1. Stir all the ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
