# Hurricane

The restored New Orleans branch is unapologetically huge and simple: black rum, lemon, and passion fruit in a two-one-one strong-sour-sweet avalanche.

Strength: 20% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 120 ml [Black blended rum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/black-blended-rum.md)
- 60 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 60 ml [Passion-fruit syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/passion-fruit-syrup.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon wheel — Use one thin wheel.
- Cocktail umbrella

## Method

1. Add all the ingredients to a spindle blender with 360 ml crushed ice and four to six small cubes.
2. Flash-blend at high speed for five seconds, then open-pour into a chilled Hurricane glass.
3. Add more crushed ice to fill.
