# Ideal Cocktail

Fresh grapefruit and dry maraschino brighten a shaken gin-and-sweet-vermouth cocktail poised between the Martinez and the Bronx.

Strength: 28% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-gin.md)
- 30 ml [Sweet vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sweet-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 3 dashes [Maraschino liqueur](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/maraschino-liqueur.md)
- 15 ml [Fresh grapefruit juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-grapefruit-juice.md)

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
