Erick Castro&#39;s bourbon-led tropical drink, bringing pineapple and lemon into focus with falernum, sugar, spice, and serious whiskey weight.

Strength: 18% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Bourbon](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/bourbon.md) — A whiskey at 50% ABV or higher works especially well.
- 22.5 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 30 ml [Fresh pineapple juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-pineapple-juice.md)
- 15 ml [Falernum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/falernum.md)
- 15 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- 2 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Mint sprig
- Cinnamon — Freshly grate over the drink.

## Method

1. Short-shake all the ingredients with ice for five seconds.
2. Strain into a hurricane glass packed with crushed or pebble ice.
