# Japanese Cocktail

Cognac, orgeat, and aromatic bitters form a foundational stirred cocktail whose dry brandy structure keeps the almond syrup far from tropical territory.

Strength: 32% ABV before dilution

- 2 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and drop the twist into the glass.

## Method

1. Stir all ingredients with cubed ice for about 30 seconds until thoroughly chilled and diluted.
2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
