# Knickerbocker

A nineteenth-century rum punch balances aged rum, orange curaçao, raspberry, and lime over fine ice.

Strength: 28% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Aged rum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/aged-rum.md) — Use a characterful aged, non-Jamaican rum.
- 30 ml [Orange curaçao](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-curacao.md)
- 15 ml [Raspberry syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/raspberry-syrup.md)
- 15 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)

## Glassware

Old fashioned glass

## Garnish

- Lime shell
- Pineapple chunks — Use two or three small pieces of ripe pineapple.
- Fresh raspberries

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass filled with finely crushed ice.
