# Mai Tai

A landmark tropical sour balancing aged rum with lime, orange curaçao, almond, and demerara.

## Ingredients

- 15 ml [Orange curaçao](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-curacao.md)
- 22.5 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)
- 7.5 ml [Orgeat syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orgeat-syrup.md)
- 7.5 ml [Demerara syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/demerara-syrup.md)

## Glassware

Rocks glass

## Garnish

- Mint sprig
- Lime shell

## Method

1. Shake all the ingredients with crushed ice until well chilled.
2. Pour unstrained into a rocks glass and top with more crushed ice.
