# Mamie Taylor

Scotch, lime, and forceful ginger make a brisk nineteenth-century highball with smoke, spice, and no unnecessary sweetness.

Strength: 12% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 22.5 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)
- 120 ml [Ginger beer](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/ginger-beer.md) — Use a dry, forcefully spiced ginger beer.

## Method

1. Fill a chilled highball glass with cubed ice.
2. Add the Scotch and fresh lime juice.
3. Top gently with the chilled ginger beer and stir once.
