# Marguerite

An equal-parts ancestor of the Dry Martini, softer and more wine-led, with orange bitters tying gin to vermouth.

Strength: 29% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 30 ml [Dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-gin.md) — Use a rounded Plymouth-style gin.
- 30 ml [Dry vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-vermouth.md)
- 1 dash [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink.

## Method

1. Stir all the ingredients with ice until well chilled.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
