# Monte Cassino

Damon Dyer’s equal-parts rye sour makes Yellow Chartreuse and Bénédictine full partners, joining grain, herbs, honeyed spice, and lemon.

Strength: 33% ABV before dilution

- 22.5 ml [Bénédictine](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/benedictine.md)
- 22.5 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
