# New Orleans Brandy Milk Punch

Cold whole milk turns brandy, fine sugar, and nutmeg into New Orleans’s frothy, gently sweet brunch standard without the weight of cream or egg.

Strength: 8% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 240 ml [Whole milk](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/whole-milk.md) — Use well-chilled whole milk.
- 1 teaspoon [Powdered sugar](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/powdered-sugar.md)

Double old fashioned glass

## Garnish

- Nutmeg — Freshly grate over the drink.

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients with three ice cubes until thoroughly chilled and frothy.
2. Strain into a chilled double old fashioned glass over cracked ice.
