# Old Cuban

An aged-rum Daiquiri lengthened with sparkling wine and perfumed with mint and aromatic bitters.

- 22.5 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- 6 leaves [Mint](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/mint.md)
- 2 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)
- 60 ml [Sparkling wine](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sparkling-wine.md)

## Method

1. Gently muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup in a shaker.
2. Add the rum, lime juice, bitters, and ice, then shake until well chilled.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe glass, top with the sparkling wine, and stir once.
