# Pago Pago Cocktail

Fresh muddled pineapple softens a dry gold-rum sour while green alpine herbs and white cacao make the finish stranger and more aromatic.

Strength: 14% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 120 ml [Pineapple](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/pineapple.md) — Loosely fill the measure with roughly 2 cm cubes of ripe fresh pineapple.
- 45 ml [Column-still aged rum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/column-still-aged-rum.md) — Use a light gold Puerto Rican-style rum.
- 15 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)
- 15 ml [Green Chartreuse](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/green-chartreuse.md)
- 7.5 ml [White crème de cacao](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/white-creme-de-cacao.md)

## Garnish

- Pineapple cube — Use one small fresh cube.
- Pineapple leaf — Use one clean upright leaf.

## Method

1. Muddle the pineapple thoroughly in the base of a shaker.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and crushed ice, shake hard, and double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
