# Pimm’s No. 1 Cup

A restrained British summer highball that lengthens bittersweet, gin-based Pimm’s with sparkling lemonade, cucumber, orange, and mint.

Strength: 6% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [Pimm’s No. 1](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/pimms-no-1.md)
- 150 ml [Sparkling lemonade](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/sparkling-lemonade.md) — Use a crisp British-style sparkling lemonade, not still American lemonade or a strongly lime-led lemon-lime soda.

Highball glass

## Garnish

- Cucumber ribbon
- Orange slice — Use one thin half-wheel.
- Mint sprig — Clap the mint gently before placing it in the drink.

## Method

1. Lay a long, thin cucumber ribbon against the inside of a chilled highball glass.
2. Fill the glass completely with hard cubed ice and add the Pimm’s No. 1.
3. Top gently with the chilled sparkling lemonade and lift once from bottom to top with a bar spoon.
