# Portonic

Portugal&#39;s dry white-Port aperitivo lengthens fortified wine with bitter tonic, ice, and lemon for a pale, brisk, lower-proof highball.

Strength: 7% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [Dry white Port](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-white-port.md)
- 100 ml [Tonic water](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/tonic-water.md)

## Garnish

- Lemon slice — Use one thin slice.

## Method

1. Fill a chilled highball glass with cubed ice and add the dry white Port.
2. Pour in the chilled tonic water gently and stir once.
