# Puritan

A dry, herbal Martini variation in which Yellow Chartreuse rounds gin and vermouth without taking over.

Strength: 36% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 50 ml [London dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/london-dry-gin.md)
- 15 ml [Dry vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-vermouth.md)
- 10 ml [Yellow Chartreuse](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/yellow-chartreuse.md)
- 1 dash [Orange bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange-bitters.md)

## Garnish

- Orange twist — Express the peel oils over the drink.

## Method

1. Stir all the ingredients with ice until well chilled.
2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
