# Queen’s Park Swizzle

A high-octane Trinidadian swizzle that drives dark Demerara rum through fragrant mint, lime, sugar, and aromatic bitters.

Strength: 24% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Demerara rum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/demerara-rum.md)
- 30 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)
- 22.5 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- 8 leaves [Mint](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/mint.md)
- 4 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)

- Mint sprig

## Method

1. Gently muddle the mint with the lime juice and syrup in a highball glass.
2. Add the rum and two dashes of bitters, then fill with crushed ice and swizzle until the glass frosts.
3. Mound with more crushed ice and crown with the remaining two dashes of bitters.
