# Rome With a View

Campari and dry vermouth move from Americano territory into a lime sour before rich syrup and soda turn the whole thing into a low-proof Collins.

Strength: 9% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 30 ml [Campari](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/campari.md)
- 30 ml [Dry vermouth](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-vermouth.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 30 ml [Fresh lime juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lime-juice.md)
- 15 ml [Rich simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/rich-simple-syrup.md) — Use a syrup made with two parts sugar to one part water.
- 45 ml [Soda water](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/soda-water.md) — Use cold, freshly opened soda water.

- Orange wheel — Use one thin fresh wheel.

## Method

1. Shake every ingredient except the soda water with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Strain into a chilled Collins filled with fresh cubed ice, add the soda water, and stir once gently.
