# Russian Spring Punch

Cassis and lemon give vodka a vivid blackcurrant-sour core before dry sparkling wine stretches it into a cold, dangerous party drink.

Strength: 19% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 25 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 10 ml [Crème de cassis](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/creme-de-cassis.md)
- 10 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md)
- 60 ml [Champagne](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/champagne.md) — Use very cold Brut Champagne.

## Garnish

- Lemon slice — Use one thin slice.
- Blackberry — Use two fresh blackberries.

## Method

1. Fill a chilled highball glass with cubed ice and add the vodka, fresh lemon juice, crème de cassis, and simple syrup.
2. Top with the Champagne and lift once gently from bottom to top with a bar spoon.
