# Scorpion

White rum and brandy share a large measure of orange and lemon with orgeat in Trader Vic&#39;s individual 1972 drink, a distinct descendant rather than a scaled-down communal bowl.

- Orchid — Use a food-safe gardenia when available; an orchid is the practical edible-flower substitute.

## Method

1. Blend all ingredients for about five seconds with one generous scoop of shaved or finely crushed ice.
2. Pour into a chilled goblet and add cubed ice to fill.
