# Seelbach

Bourbon, orange liqueur, and ten dashes of bitters meet Champagne in Adam Seger&#39;s genuinely modern 1995 sparkling cocktail.

Strength: 18% ABV before dilution

- 15 ml [Triple sec](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/triple-sec.md)
- 7 dashes [Peychaud’s bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/peychauds-bitters.md)
- 3 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md)
- 150 ml [Champagne](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/champagne.md) — Use well-chilled Brut Champagne.

## Garnish

- Orange twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.

## Method

1. Stir the bourbon, triple sec, and bitters with cubed ice for about 30 seconds.
2. Strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
3. Add the Champagne slowly without stirring.
