# Stone Fence

Dark rum fortifies tart, gently funky hard cider in one of North America's oldest and most elemental long drinks.

Strength: 14% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 60 ml [Dark rum](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dark-rum.md)
- 180 ml [Hard cider](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/hard-cider.md) — Use a dry, full-flavoured hard cider rather than a sweet commercial style.

## Method

1. Add one or two dense cubes to a chilled pint glass.
2. Add the dark rum and chilled hard cider, then stir once gently.
