# The Brave

A still, spirit-forward union of mezcal, tequila, Averna, and orange liqueur perfumed with bitters.

## Ingredients

- 37.5 ml [Mezcal](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/mezcal.md)
- 22.5 ml [Blanco tequila](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/blanco-tequila.md)
- 15 ml [Averna](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/averna.md)
- 7.5 ml [Grand Marnier](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/grand-marnier.md)
- 3 dashes [Angostura bitters](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/angostura-bitters.md) — Mist over the drink and inside the glass.

## Garnish

- Orange peel — Use a wide swath.

## Method

1. Combine the mezcal, tequila, Averna, and Grand Marnier in a wine glass without ice, then swirl gently.
2. Mist the Angostura bitters over the surface and around the inside of the glass.
3. Flame the orange peel oils over the drink, then add the peel.
