# Tinto de Verano

Young red wine and lightly sweet Spanish gaseosa meet as equals in a brisk summer cooler, trading Sangria's fruit bowl for cold tannin, bubbles, and subtle citrus.

Strength: 7% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 100 ml [Red wine](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/red-wine.md) — Use a clean, young, fruit-forward dry red with moderate tannin and little oak.
- 100 ml [Gaseosa](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/gaseosa.md) — Use very cold Spanish gaseosa; lemon-lime soda makes the sweeter con limón variation.

## Glassware

Goblet glass

## Garnish

- Lemon slice — Use one thin slice.

## Method

1. Fill a chilled goblet generously with dense cubed ice.
2. Add the red wine and cold gaseosa, then lift once gently from bottom to top with a bar spoon.
