# Too Soon?

A regal shake with thin orange slices gives this gin-and-Cynar sour fragrant peel oils and soft fruit depth without muddling bitterness into the drink.

Strength: 17% ABV before dilution

## Ingredients

- 30 ml [Dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-gin.md)
- 30 ml [Cynar](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/cynar.md)
- 22.5 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)
- 15 ml [Simple syrup](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/simple-syrup.md) — Use a one-to-one syrup by weight.
- 2 slices [Orange](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/orange.md) — Use two thin slices and do not muddle them.

## Method

1. Place the orange slices in a shaker without muddling them, then add the remaining ingredients and cubed ice.
2. Shake hard until thoroughly chilled.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
