Dry gin and lemon sharpen white cacao and Lillet Blanc into C. A. Tuck’s poised 1937 British modernist classic.

## Ingredients

- 40 ml [Dry gin](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/dry-gin.md)
- 20 ml [White crème de cacao](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/white-creme-de-cacao.md)
- 20 ml [Lillet Blanc](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/lillet-blanc.md) — Keep the opened bottle refrigerated and use it fresh.
- 20 ml [Fresh lemon juice](https://stirred.fyi/ingredients/fresh-lemon-juice.md)

Cocktail glass

## Garnish

- Lemon twist — Express the peel oils over the drink and retain the twist.

## Method

1. Shake all ingredients hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
2. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
