Remember the Maine
A rye and vermouth cocktail deepened with cherry brandy and an absinthe rinse.
Ingredients
- Rye whiskey 60 ml
- Sweet vermouth 22.5 ml
- Luxardo cherry liqueur 15 ml
- Absinthe 7.5 ml
- Glassware
- Coupe glass
- Garnish

Method
- Coat the inside of a coupe with absinthe, discard the excess, and set it aside.
- Stir the remaining ingredients with ice until chilled.
- Strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass.
