The Brave
A still, spirit-forward union of mezcal, tequila, Averna, and orange liqueur perfumed with bitters.
Ingredients
- Mezcal 37.5 ml
- Blanco tequila 22.5 ml
- Averna 15 ml
- Grand Marnier 7.5 ml
- Angostura bitters 3 dashes Mist over the drink and inside the glass.
- Glassware
- Wine glass
- Garnish

- Orange peel Use a wide swath.
Method
- Combine the mezcal, tequila, Averna, and Grand Marnier in a wine glass without ice, then swirl gently.
- Mist the Angostura bitters over the surface and around the inside of the glass.
- Flame the orange peel oils over the drink, then add the peel.
