A nineteenth-century rum punch balances aged rum, orange curaçao, raspberry, and lime over fine ice.

- Pineapple chunks Use two or three small pieces of ripe pineapple.

Ingredients
- Aged rum 60 ml Use a characterful aged, non-Jamaican rum.
- Orange curaçao 30 ml
- Raspberry syrup 15 ml
- Fresh lime juice 15 ml
Preparation
- Shake all ingredients hard with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass filled with finely crushed ice.
