Nevada’s Basque-American state drink layers robust bitter-orange amer, pomegranate, soda, and a brandy float into a compact, uncompromising regional highball.

Ingredients
- Ferino Amer 45 ml
- Grenadine 7.5 ml Use a grenadine made with real pomegranate.
- Soda water 45 ml Use cold, freshly opened soda water.
- Brandy 15 ml
Preparation
- Fill a chilled Picon glass with cubed ice, add the amer and grenadine, and stir briefly.
- Add the soda water, then float the brandy over the top.
