Donn Beach's formidable swizzle, driving overproof Demerara rum through lime, sugar, aromatic bitters, and a cool thread of anise.

Ingredients
- Overproof Demerara rum 45 ml
- Fresh lime juice 15 ml
- Simple syrup 15 ml
- Angostura bitters 1 dash
- Anise spirit 6 drops
Preparation
- Add all the ingredients and 240 ml crushed ice to a blender cup.
- Flash-blend at high speed for no more than five seconds.
- Pour unstrained into a chilled flared metal swizzle cup and add more crushed ice to fill.
