Overproof Demerara rum drives orange, lime, passion fruit, falernum, bitters, and anise through crushed ice in a direct and unusually severe Donn Beach punch.

Ingredients
- Overproof Demerara rum 45 ml Use a flavourful Guyanese-style 151-proof rum, not a neutral overproof spirit.
- Fresh lime juice 15 ml
- Fresh orange juice 15 ml
- Passion-fruit syrup 15 ml
- Falernum 7.5 ml
- Angostura bitters 1 dash
- Anise spirit 6 drops Use absinthe or another dry anise spirit.
Preparation
- Shake all ingredients with cubed ice until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled Collins glass packed with crushed ice.
